Missed a whisker this track/trip first up and presents fourth-up on the fresh side. Carries top weight but has more to give and will be tough to beat. THE BIRTHDAY PARTY (3) won at Swan Hill on debut and was immediately tipped out. Resumes for the in-form yard and has had three Flemington jumpouts, winning the latest. Will be naturally improved and gets in well with the 3kg claim. AMRAAM (2) was placed at Kilmore first-up, and the stewards inquired into his reluctance to take a narrow run at the 300m. Has the blinkers on for the first time and the inside gate and handy 1.5kg claim. MYSTERY BLONDE (9) would be in the finish at best, but has been disappointing. Maps well and can go better for an in-form stable.
