SIR LOYNE (3) returned from a 100-day spell with a tidy second over 1400m at Kembla last start, chasing hard after racing on the pace but finding one a bit better. Bolted in here at this trip last prep. Looks very hard to beat with plenty of improvement to come off that first-up effort. AUTUMN WINTER (2) creates plenty of interest here first-up for the Matthew Smith barn after beginning his career under the tutelage of Aidan O'Brien. He's been off the scene for a long time now, but he'll be fitter for a couple of trials coming in and this trip first-up looks a good move. The in-form Boudvillain takes the ride and he can make an impression. FIREWORK (7) won well fresh before just a fair run at Kembla Grange last time out. Jumps right out in trip now and can make amends. DARK VADOR (5) was no match in the Bega Cup but his form prior was solid. Keep safe.
