IVY LEGEND (2) returned from an eight-month spell and was having his first run under Chris Waller when an eye-catching second over 1350m at the Beaumont track last start. Bred to want a bit of ground so getting to the mile second-up looks perfect. Shouldn't be a maiden for long under the premier trainer's care. MASTER OF WAR (1) has raced twice and battled on okay on each occasion in shorter races without every looking likely. Expecting better things with this step up in journey. AEROSTERN BRO (3) came off a five-week let-up when a decent fourth in heavy going at Orange recently. Gets an extra furlong today and with added fitness can play a role. BELGRANO (4) looked a chance on the bend but just wilted in the dying stages of a similar maiden here 11 days ago. Cherry ripe and should be prominent for a long way.
