Wetherby Race 1 - Wetherby Racecourse Supporting Spinal Research Novices' Hcp Chase (Gbb Race)
IN THE TRENCHES (1) got off the mark at the fifteenth attempt over fences when he won by 1.25L at Warwick. Was making his UK debut and tackling 4800m for the first time. Addition of a tongue tie seemed to help and his trainer and jockey are in good form which makes him the primary selection. START AGAIN (2) provided his sixth fences outing when winning by 2.25L at Huntingdon attempting 100m further than this trip eight days ago. Cheekpieces worked that day and they stay on. Receives a penalty for that triumph which puts him on difficult terms with the main selection who is much superior on ratings.
