Werribee Race 2 - Tobin Brothers Mdn Plate
Reece Goodwin looks to have found the right race for HANDSOME MISSILE (5), whose three starts this prep have been in much tougher races on the home track at Pakenham. The latest was his worst performance, but that was his first look at Heavy ground and he might not have loved it. A repeat of the 3/4-length second to Chowdown the start prior would have him awfully hard to stop here. MONSUN'S PRIDE (2) is the most interesting runner, having second run back from Hong Kong. Wasn't beaten far at the first and had jumped out well prior, so can improve sharply here over a bit of extra ground. NO NO NO NO NO (8) is another suited up slightly in trip and he'll be better for the debut, when only beaten a tick over 2 lengths. GALANT KNIGHT (4) is on debut and has taken some stoking up at the jumpouts, but gets straight to 1400m and might be able to hold a spot from the draw. MR VEGAS (6) needs to lift on debut but will be better for it and this isn't a deep race.
