KOMITO (2) had plenty of jumpout and trial experience before making a solid debut at Cranbourne just over 3 weeks ago, in a much-improved effort on what we had seen leading into that race. He is bred to excel over the longer trips, so the mile second up is an ideal next step. On top here. OCTANE REIGN (3) had a few excuses when finishing fourth as the favourite at Yarra Valley a fortnight ago. The further he goes, the better he will get, and his first win is not far away. Follow your money. OR AM I (8) fought on well enough to finish fourth after looming large on the turn at Yarra Valley last time out. She is peaking at the right time and can figure in the top 3 here. PANELLI (4) is a promising gelding heading in the right direction with his form. Stick with him on an each-way basis. LATIN LIGHTS (7) has the blinkers on for the first time third up, and she is well-placed to put her best hoof forward in this.
