Warracknabeal Race 6 - Pony Xpress (Bm56)
Tough race. Siding with CRACK A DEEL (1) just because he looks to have a little more upside than most. Connections though enough of him to tackle the G2 MV Vase after the maiden win last prep and there's probably not many here who would have got within 5.7 lengths of Observer. Got home nicely first-up at Swan Hill and will relish the extra distance here. CROSSOVERKID (6) is struggling to recapture the good form from last prep and if he did he'd be clearly the horse to beat but he should be at peak fitness now and can hit back. CONVO (9) hasn't run too many poor races of late, which is what made last start a surprise when dropping in grade, but she deserves another chance. READY BY DESIGN (3) was a big drifter last start but ran an improved race, going under by less than 2 lengths, and he's likely to race in a handy spot, which is a plus here. TRIPLE OH (8) is fitter now and placed in 64 grade at this trip last prep.
