KINKY MISTRESS (6) was sent out favourite at Mildura and was checked approaching the 400m, so there is a clear case to improve sharply with race experience, especially given the support. SNOWY MOUNTAINS (14) was well held on debut at Warrnambool, but that came in Open company on heavy ground, and two trials plus blinkers going on for the first time give her a legitimate fresh profile. VALOUR VINO (9) ran a solid race on debut at Wodonga when running on into third. Sharper for that and should be thereabouts again.
