INCANDESCENT (1) won as the favourite on debut at Ellerslie and then was fourth there last time out in the G2 Eclipse Stakes when again heavily supported in the market. That sort of form makes him the one to beat in this small field. SWEETEST THING (2) looked good at the trials before finishing runner-up by half-a-length at Trentham in the Listed Wellesley Stakes just over 7 weeks ago. She will naturally improve second up, and she can make up the quinella with the top pick in this. SO FEAR (3) won her latest trial by 4 lengths, and Courtney Barnes will keep the ride. If not too green, she will be right in the finish on debut. Check the market. DOLLY PARDON (4) makes her debut without any public trials, but the Lisa Latta stable is in form, so don't risk her. SAX APPEAL (5) is another Lisa Latta runner, who has the advantage of the pole position. Watch closely.
