RESPLENDENCE (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 1609m in stakes class at this track (Synthetic). Drawn to stalk the leaders. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the key runners. SCRATCH IT (5) resumes after a break of five-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate her debut win over 1710m at Saratoga Inner Turf to kick off last prep. Key runner. LA VILLE LUMIERE (10) scored two runs back then was popular with punters last time but could only manage to finish tenth over 1308m in Listed grade at Santa Anita Turf (Turf) after she had settled well back. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. MAXIMUM OFFER (7) took up the running last time and turned in front but faded to finish fourth, beaten one length, over this journey in Listed grade at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Well placed in this easier race. Too good to ignore.
