His prior win at Turffontein Standside came as favourite in a 17-runner field, and his record around 1200m gives the profile real substance. ELUSIVE RED (8) is the clear danger, dropping back from an Open third over 1450m at this venue with meaningful weight relief and a recent Vaal win over Blindfire behind him. LITTLE BOY BLUE (4) is race-fit, third-up and comes off a two-length NOV win at this track as a well-supported favourite, backed up by a close third the run prior.
