UTSAAH (1) led and just failed to hang on last start over 1600m at Vaal when in the market to make it two minor placings from four runs this preparation. Should be prominent again. MADE TO MEASURE (3) improved last time out, finishing 0.9 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1600m at Vaal. Looks well placed so expect another big run. NICOLSON LANDING (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 1450m at Turffontein Inside. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BE MY FATE (5) stepped out for her debut over 1450m at Vaal back on January 8 and finished sixth, beaten 3 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement.
