OUT OF THE BLUE (2) won both of his starts at Riccarton as an odds-on favourite in small fields, and then was put aside for a short break to mature. He has a decent gate and is the one to beat again. SILHOUETTE (7) led all the way when beating 2 others here on debut nearly 10 weeks ago. That experience is invaluable on this track, and she will give the top pick plenty to think about. BUTLER CABIN (1) was runner-up here in the Wakefield Challenge Stakes a fortnight ago, and won't have to improve by much to be the winner in this. Stick with him. LASSIFIED (6) led all the way and clung on to a neck win on debut at Tauherenikau before finishing fourth here in the same race as the fourth pick when leading until the home straight. She could take some pegging back in this as well. VAHVAY (5) was third here last time out, and is good enough to figure in the top 3 again.
