ELLES MY NAME (9) is locally trained and resumes today. Showed enough in her brief initial preparation to consider and she draws inside and will be naturally improved. Presents off a trial near miss here in the inner track. The betting will be key. Ditto with FRED'S MEMORY (3), who resumes from a spell of a year and was close to a win before the break. May need one but is good enough to consider and has upside. SILENT FOX (6) is a Victorian who has switched to the Currie yard. Expect him to be much more competitive than the form line suggests and he owns a Gatton trial win.
