Pretty moderate maiden so happy to chance WILD BEAN (8) who resumes for a new yard. Made debut at Ipswich a year ago behind Grafterburners who has been winning everything lately. Hasn't raced since but returns for new yard and as a gelding and has trialled well. Blinkers go on so expected to hit the ground running. I AM PIETRA (11) looked close to a win at first two starts then out in a poor run last time on the Gold Coast when bombed the start and nothing went right. Better than that and back here worth another chance. HELL TO THE LINE (1) was a close-up third here fresh when charged home from the tail. Goes close with a repeat. STRAIGHT BLAST (4) raced once at Rockhampton before a very long spell. Trialling well enough and worth watching for a move. PACIERA (12) has good speed and draws the inside gate so can give a sight.
