Toowoomba Race 4 - Torus Networks Mdn Plate
THREE TEES (7) has been rather disappointing in both of his starts this season and drops further in class for this. The leading Tony Gollan stable has a great record when he treks his horses to this track and this gelding will be close to his last chance third up. He could be looking for a firmer surface and could be hard to hold out. SHAKE'N'BAKE (3) was placed 6 times from 10 starts in Victoria and has since joined the local Mark Currie stable who normally gets quick results with similar types. He was close up in a recent trial on the track and is sure to have plenty of admirers fresh up. Watch closely. SWITCHBLADE (4) is another ex-Victorian who was placed in 2 of his first 4 starts during his initial prep earlier in the year. He will be stronger this season and should pick up his first win at short notice. ANOTHERLOVELYDAY (8) overdid it in the early stages over 1540m on the Gold Coast poly track 3 weeks ago and is much better placed over this sprint trip. Each way value.
