STUNNING VIEW (8) is the one to beat after a hard-fought Nakayama win, scoring by a nose from Daisy and confirming the improvement she had hinted at when fifth at Niigata. She has won at this track, is effective at 1800m and her two wins from five starts this season give her the strongest current profile. EVER GROOVE (7) has to rebound from a plain first-up ninth at Hanshin, but her previous Fukushima fifth was much better and she returns to a distance where she owns two wins and a placing. KREISLERIANA (2) resumes with a very reliable record, including a Niigata second behind La Belle Scene and a perfect place record from five runs around 1800m, although she has been costly at short odds.
