Nicely placed to feature in the finish. PURE LIEN (9) is a first-starter by Happy Sprint from Prima Bisty who has thrown plenty of winners to date. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Sure to be competitive despite a tricky draw. G T KELLY (3) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish ninth at the latest run over 1600m at this track. Can run better this time.
