TAKESHI (14) bounced straight to the front from the rails draw when fresh from a spell last start and led for home before finishing third over 1200m at this track. Expected to be in this for a long way. RYUNO FOWLER (7) turned in a fine effort to score by 5 lengths at today's track and distance last start in a far better run. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. SNIPE FLAVOR (8) was never in contention when resuming last start over 1200m at this track, finishing sixth.
