Thistledown Race 1 - Race 1 - Claiming

LIBERATE (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1106m at this track (Dirt) after being in contention all the way. Settles close to the speed. Faces an easier assignment so he is perfectly placed to score. WORKSTATION (9) finished 10 lengths behind the winner in sixth over 1207m at this track (Dirt) last start after lifting strongly to score two back. Well-placed to return to winning form. CONDEMNATION (1) is a genuine type with four minor placings from six starts this prep. Continued the trend last start when runner-up over 1106m at this track (Dirt) after he was prominent throughout. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SPECIALIZED (2) is yet to strike a blow this prep. Failed to complete the course when second-up at this track. Opened the campaign with a fifth at this track over 1207m, beaten 6 lengths. Something for the Multiples: ZAKARIA (7)
