Thistledown Race 4 - Race 4 - Claiming

BIG BUCKSALOT (3) was quickly into stride over 1609m at this track (Dirt) last time and defied all challengers to score by 3.5 lengths. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. LITTLE VAQUERO (5) missed the placings two runs back then settled well back last start when 11 lengths away in fifth over 1106m at this track. The engagement of Becerra Fernando Salazar is a positive move. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. BELLA FUTURE (2) finished second two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 0.8 lengths over 1106m at this track (Dirt). J Skerrett scored on him last time and retains the ride. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CLASSIC RICHIE (6) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when third over 1207m at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic). Capable of testing this field.
