STATE OF PLAY (2) is a stablemate of the top pick, and his trial form has also been sound, including a win at Avondale. He has the pole position, and will be ready to rumble. WHISTLEJACKET (3) is another gelding making his debut, and he has also won his latest trial. A good draw is an assist, and if 1100m is not already too short for him, he should be very competitive.
