SANDBAR (12) beat subsequent winner and G1 1000 Guineas hopeful Park In The Bar at the trials before running on late for 4th behind Singletary at Otaki last month. Stick with her. POTCHEEN (7) had a nice run on the rails from the pole draw and fought on solidly on debut here in September. Stable is going well and must respect here. APOTHEOSIS (8) found form on the synthetic track with a sound rails run over 970m for 2nd, beating home subsequent winner Petite Rocher home in September. Has claims despite the wide gate. VAHVAY (11) trialled well before a sound 2nd at Trentham on a heavy track in September then led and faded in a strong 3yo maiden here last month. Can give a sight in this. LALUME (9) the best run of her 4 starts was her debut at Wanganui over 1360m when she ran on well from last in April. Faded after leading over 2140m on the synthetic last start in June.
