Solid race. RUPERTANO (7) slashing debut when taken to the front for a fighting second over 1313m at this track. Has further upside heading into this and gets a similar set-up again. Top three contender. HELLFIGHTER (2) drops in trip and has his hoof on the till from the right gate. Sat on the speed with the 59kg as a ($1.85 fav) with a respectable second over 1650m at Moruya. Doesn't have to improve much to take this out. WHAT A GENT (9) placed here three back over the 1600m. Went back from the gate and was fair through the line when sixth over 1400m at Dubbo. Keep safe. AREESEA (11) progressive gelding at his top for this. Motored late from back in the field with a tidy fourth over 1300m at Newcastle. Will go back from the outside gate and launch late. Each way.
