Has a sticky gate to contend with here but should prove too good for these. VARAZZE (10) failed on the quick back-up in the heavy (10) going with a fading sixth over 1405m at Coffs Harbour. Has a good record here and she gets a senior rider today. Sharp improver. PURPLE PRINCE (9) never looked comfortable in the heavy (8) going with the 59kg when a battling last over this course and distance. Regular apprentice goes back aboard and drops 4kg in weight here. Each way. LYKOS (5) finished runner-up at her last two outings on rain affected tracks and gets every chance from the inside draw. Among the top-three hopes.
