Coming back in trip doesn't seem ideal but this is a far easier assignment than last time so he gets his chance to break through. ALFRED (7) raced handy and didn't shirk the task when a close fifth first-up over 1300m at Tuncurry last time out. Lightly raced three-year-old who can improve sharply off that run. RUSH FORTYFIVE (4) started at $26 when midfield on debut over 1350m at the Beaumont track 19 days ago. Won't find this nearly as tough so he comes right into calculations. TIKIROO (10) found 1200m at the Beaumont track a bit sharp when first-up from a spell there 12 days ago. In the mix in this more suitable contest.
