This is much easier and assess on the good second at Gunnedah two-back. Go close. THUNDERING FALCON (6) turned things around with a surprise victory over 2245m at Grafton on the soft (6) surface. Finds a fairly average race again and is sure to be thereabouts. BILL PEYTO (8) is a tough old gelding with a decent record over this track and trip. Jumped 600m in trip on the quick back-up in the heavy going with a battling third over 2200m at Dubbo. Gets in light again with the 3kg claimer and can feature in the finish. CALZINO (5) was in need of the run after the lengthy break with a plugging tenth over 1600m at Scone. Claim helps and is proven at the trip. Each-way.
