A tough race. BRIGHELLA (8) missed the frame in stronger at Muswellbrook, but before that had gone close three times at this level. Will race forward from the handy barrier and will go close with Gibbons sticking aboard. MUTINY (14) is third-up and spiked her figures beaten 1L from the pace over 1100m at Armidale. Has to overcome an awkward gate, but is heading in the right direction and is likely to feature. IKNOWYOU (4) is a distance specialist back in grade and distance. He's been freshened and has the tongue tie on for the first time. He has the ability if presented forward by the Cavanough yard. SNATCHREILLY (2) had been within range all preparation before being outgraded at Moree. Needs a good ride from an outside barrier, but the 3kg claim is handy, and he'd be a hope with average luck in running.
