ARCTIC BRIGHT (10) returns off a freshen-up after going down narrowly at Wyong and his recent form reads well for a race like this. The awkward draw is the main hurdle, but he still profiles as one of the key chances. CLENCH (2) resumed with a solid effort over 1400m at this track, sticking on well after racing on the speed. He should take natural improvement from that run and looks capable of finishing in the top four again. HARD KNOX (6) also returned in good order when runner-up over the same trip here and will strip fitter second-up. With even luck from the wide gate, he's right in the mix. PROBLEMATICAL (7) finished runner-up here fresh over 1000m, and the extra 400m is ideal second up. Each way.
