COL BURN (2) has returned in good order this prep and should be hitting his straps fourth-up. Inside draw should see him land cosy and be poised to strike when they sprint. DON'T DOUBT MISSY (14) continues to leave herself with too much to do but possesses a sharp turn of foot. Will undoubtedly drift back again from the wide draw but if the pace is genuine she can cause a big fright late. TILL DUSK (7) sets up well for this fourth-up coming in off a win, and the form around her is red-hot. Keeps the claim and is in this up to her ears. DIVINE JUSTICE (13) backed up her eye-catching finish at the Gold Coast with a strong win here last time. Will drift back again and be charging late. TAM NA GHAR (12) didn't give her rivals a sniff at the Gold Coast when leading pillar-to-post. Gets a key switch in Thompson and will give them something to catch again, you'd assume.

He was third in a BM62 at Wangaratta on heavy ground before the break, slow away and checked but still keeping on, after a plain second-last at Geelong. Proven at 1400m, yet this is a harder assignment than that country form and he has to lift sharply. Looking to others at this stage.

He was beaten a nose at this track two back in the same grade, again after being held up, so the recent form has more depth than the bare results.
