Thompson reuniting from a low draw reads favourably. LUCONI (2) steps up from a country CL3 after making an encouraging start to the prep. Fitter and is drawn kind. Have to include. That followed a third over 1400m at the same track, where he was hampered early and still produced a big late run. Up to the mile with a light weight, he sets the standard.
