HEAD OF THE RIVER (9) was quickly back on track beaten 1.3L on a heavy track at Toowoomba. Fourth up now and with conditions to suit expect him to settle off the pace and come hard. HELLO PUNTERS (4) peaks off three placed efforts and was gunned down late here last time after leading them up. Jury still out on wet tracks but he maps to advantage and has the fitness. MAGIC INVADER (6) resumed here in the same contest and looked a run short. His best would have him right in it and he has run well on a soft track. YARANGA (3) and a good race at Eagle Farm on debut. Draws well and has been kept up to the mark with a Doomben trial. Unknown in the expected conditions.
