TRUCKIN (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a nose over 1106m at Sunland Park (Dirt) after being prominent at the corner. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. WITHOUT EQUAL (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when he did his best work late but found a couple better over 1207m at Turf Paradise, beaten 4 lengths. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. PLEASEUSETHEPORTAL (2) finished third at Turf Paradise two runs back but was less effective last time over 1609m at Turf Paradise (Dirt), finishing 9 lengths back in seventh. Going up a level this time but he good enough to play a major role. COPPER STATE (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 30 when beaten 8 lengths into fourth at Sunland Park (Dirt) over 1308m. Well placed and can fill a top-three spot.
