Did win when fresh from a spell two runs back by 0.3 lengths at this track (Dirt). Good record at this journey with two wins and four minor placings from nine starts and is sure to run well. TIMES AWASTEN (5) returns from a break of three-and-a-half months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a sixth over 402m at Zia Park. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. JAIRO MR (10) was in contention on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 366m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration. DAMN STRAIGHT (3) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 274m at Pocatello Downs. Among the better hopes.
