STOIC DASH (3) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in the firing line on the corner over 320m at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. That followed a win at Zia Park the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. HOME TOWN ROLL (12) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 320m at this track (Dirt), finishing third and beaten 1.3 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. MI CAPITAN (1) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on January 10, lost rider and over 366m at this track (Dirt). Change of jockey to Noe Jr Garcia who has a strong record when aboard with a win and three placings from four rides. One of the main contenders. SPENZOR (9) did a great job to score by 1.75 lengths over this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. No reason he cannot salute again.
