MCGREGOR LAKE (6) finished a 24 length eighth on dirt at Santa Anita two back. Switched to turf last time at Turf Paradise Turf over 1609m and again missed the frame, finishing a 4 length fifth. Terrific chance to return to form back on the dirt. KHANTARO D'ORO (4) is a seven-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Dick Cappellucci yard. Hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Lone Star Park (Dirt) eight months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Should feature in the finish. LOVESUNFAIR (7) improved last start to finish third over 1006m at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RIO CUTIE (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1106m at this track, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so he should be in contention again.
