Draws much kinder this time, so expect Johnstone to have him closer in the run, and the added trip should suit. Bold showing anticipated. BLACK BUGATTI (1) resumes and makes his stable debut for the Jolly & Potter partnership. Has found the maiden win elusive but did show glimpses of ability in NSW. Looks to have returned in good order, readied with two solid pieces of work, and gets in well with the claimer engaged. SECRET OWL (10) has built into her debut prep nicely and will be sharpened by the blinkers going on. Can improve sharply and go very close over the longer journey. SPLASH OF WHITE (7) was good two back at Balaklava when getting within a length of the winner. Failed last time but is worth another chance.
