Stratford Avon Race 2 - Ebf And Charlie Longsdon Racing 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle (Gbb Race) (Div 1)
RED METAL (1) got off the mark when hurdling beginning of this month winning by 3.25L. Faces a harder task here under the penalty but looks to have found a good opportunity for going back to back. SMILE JOHN BOY (7) won on debut before holding his form. Found a G2 contest at Aintree one step too far and with this being more realistic maintains strong form claims. BRECHARNON (2) made a promising start to racing for this yard at Southwell in February and has a future now tackling hurdles. KILLARNEY (3) joins a good yard commencing his rules career and deserves a market check providing initial stable outing.

This Planteur bred gelding is now four-year-old and his having his first race start. Doesn't profile as the likely winner.
