REGAL DESIRE (11) aims to turn two runner-up finishes into a maiden success. Placed second over course and distance on debut then filled the same spot in a maiden at Beverley. Might go one better. STAR OF THE DESERT (9) finished runner-up on first career outing tackling track and trip before a fourth at Carlisle last month. May bounce back. ASSIRI HEIGHTS (4) should improve from finishing ninth at Salisbury more than a year ago.
