He was safely held over 1400m when resuming, but rises in trip with four wins at this track and F Komaki booked, so improvement second-up is the key. KIMINO HEART (6) has the strongest recent piece, a second to Dia Graf when beaten two lengths, and her track-and-trip record keeps her right in the argument. LAZULITE TAKKA (2) has not quite finished off either of his past two, but his overall record and partnership with Wataru Hirose make him a sound place-to-win danger.
