He has the speed to get across from the wide draw for Teetan and he remains right down in the weights. Hasn't won in a long time, but he's knocking on the door. TALENTS AMBITION (2) flew home from a long way back to be 1.5L over this track and trip 17 days ago. Purton hops in the saddle now for the in-form Newnham stable and the blinkers are applied. Should sit closer this time and can get back to winning ways. NEZHA (9) was too good here off a freshen to win by 0.8L as a $28 chance most recently. He drops 8.5kg for the rise in grade and he rates highly on the back of his latest effort. Wouldn't surprise to see him repeat the dose.
