LIVE WIRE (9) disappointed last time out when a $3.40 chance, but his form prior suggested he was a horse on the rise. Purton now hops on board from a good draw and the blinkers are applied for the first time. Looked progressive prior to his last start and he can get back on track today. RELENTLESS PURSUIT (8) finished off impressively to catch the eye as a $15 chance from out wide. The wide draw probably sees him back in the run again, but he'll be better for the debut effort and with natural improvement, he looks the main danger. WARRIORS DREAM (4) got the job done over this track and trip last time out and the form out of it has been good, with two winners from 5 starters since. This looks to shape similarly for Hewitson and can go on with the job. VIGOR EYE (10) can bounce back to form today following a disappointing performance last time out.
