Good little clash but siding with PLATINUM PEARL (7) at the price. She was $26 on debut but ran a strong race on speed, only beaten by Saintly Dancer and Ghana's Akan, the latter of whom ran second to top filly Pretty Baby in Listed company on Saturday. Better for that run and will be very hard to catch. ANGLAIS (1) was in the market on debut at Sandown Lakeside and was close up in a messy finish. Since had a let-up and jumped out well, she'll be charging late. TAGABELLA (11) did beat ANGLAIS home when last seen, albeit by the barest of margins and that horse was steaming home. Still, she can sit handy and figure. NIKITRIA (6) resumes having contested a pair of Listed races to date and can do much better, as can REFUSE TO CURTSY (9) who has been outclassed in two G2 races and is much better placed.
