THE SHAPER (5) finds a suitable race. He was far too good two back at Wagga before a tough effort with 61kg at Morphettville when going down by a nose to a handy one. He gets every hope here from a good draw and can return to winning ways. UNTIL VALHALLA (1) is a bit hit or miss but is certainly up to this class on her day. She gave away a bit of weight to some good horses last time in town and draws for a great run. FIRE TRIBE (6) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 1400m at Sandown-Lakeside last time out, making it two on the bounce. Have to respect again and 1600m looks to suit. EUPHORIC (2) resumes. He'll want further but could surprise fresh. LARIO (8) is off a win at Geelong and can measure up on an each way basis.
