BANKER'S PRETTY (8) continues to race well and was again close to a breakthrough last start when finishing second over 1100m here. She cops a wide gate, but with the aid of a 3kg claim, she can go close to taking this out. BIG UNION (1) resumes after a three-and-a-half-month spell and ended his last campaign with a solid placing over 1400m at this track. He rates highly fresh and is expected to be prominent. Check the market moves. PACIFIC PERY (9) improved nicely second-up when finishing less than a length from the winner in third place over 1100m, and with further fitness on his side, he shapes as a big each-way chance again. STRONG DRAGON (12) returns for the first time since January and has an excellent fresh record, having placed first-up last prep and boasting two wins from three fresh attempts. He's a definite top-three contender, and any market leads will be worth following.
