Sedgefield Race 1 - Michael And Olivia Watson Novices' Hurdle (Gbb Race)

EDELAK (1) already registered five victories in a busy summer campaign with the majority coming in small field events such as this. Not competitive tackling Class 2 handicaps the last twice. Could prove hard to beat back down at this level. TOMMY PICKLES (2) reappears after seven months off with his previous season culminating in a 5.5L success attempting a 3900m Bangor novice. Very much capable of giving the likely favourite a good race. ROCK ARMOUR (3) showed only modest form in three outings over obstacles to date. Went no further than the third flight at Hexham (3200m) last time. Hard to fancy.

Last outing didn't finish the race at Hexham on October 10 over 3200m. Run before finished third in a small field at this track on September 9 over 4200m, 20 len behind Datstheholyallofit with 69.5kg at $151. This appears outside his grasp. Looking elsewhere.
