FLY THE WIND (7) brings the key class angle, having run third in a Class 1 at Taree on soft ground before dropping back to Mdn grade, and she already has a placing at 1600m. SHANTI (3) was much sharper at Beaumont (Newcastle), beaten just over a length by Stunning Future, though the new 1600m test keeps her a shade below the top pair. MOONGLEAM (5) improved into third at Muswellbrook and has placed on her only wet-track run, giving her a solid minor-placing profile if she holds that second-up improvement.
