INK LIES (4) resumed last start over 1106m at this track (Turf) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 4 lengths. Will be a major player again. DEPORTED (7) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the W A Ward yard. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Kempton Park All Weather three months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Leading player expected to feature. HIMOTHY (1) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1308m at Ellis Park, beaten 8 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects. Something for the Multiples: ESCAPADES (5)
