SHAPE NOTE (4) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1207m at Aqueduct Inner Turf (Turf). Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. SPICED UP (5) was in contention on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1106m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BITE AND STRIKE (3) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1207m at Aqueduct Turf (Turf), getting home by 3 lengths. Winning rider Jose Lezcano retains the mount. Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of running another bold race. VETTRIANO (9) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on February 4, finishing sixth and beaten 16 lengths over 1408m at Aqueduct (Dirt). Definite top-three chance.
