JOKER ON FIRE (10) went forward when resuming last start over 1207m at Aqueduct Turf (Turf) and held on well for second, beaten one length. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. NEW YORK SCRAPPY (1) is racing well on the dirt of late, hitting the frame two back at Aqueduct then improving to score at Aqueduct over 1408m three weeks ago. Hard to rule out on current form. THREE THIRTEEN (4) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish third last start over 1207m at Aqueduct Inner Turf (Turf), beaten half a length when resuming. The engagement of Shaun Bridgmohan is noteworthy. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. ON THE LEDGE (8) returned from a spell six-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth over 1207m at Aqueduct Inner Turf. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
